Moses: Guilty of Murder!
Did this great man of god actually murder someone?
Is it true? How can the greatest leader of all time be guilty of one of the greatest crimes of all times? Moreover how can God use someone who is a murderer to lead the exodus from Egypt? Don’t you have to be a holy and righteous man or woman to be used by God in his service?
Forty years later after Moses had murdered an Egyptian soldier and hid him in the sand (Ex 2:11-14) he took up residence in the shadows of the Mt. Sinai. He had forgotten about his past and had settled down to a life as a shepherd in the witness protection program.
Suddenly he heard a powerful voice that rumbled down from the mountains. It shook the rocks from the ledges of the mountains. Had his past finally caught up with him? Would he be called to account before God for the man he had murdered?

What does God really think of us when we sin?
How does it affect our relationship to him? When do we cross the line with God when it comes to sin? Can we still be used of God if we have blown it? Did Moses get a free pass when he sinned? The answers are both surprising and enlightening.
